I recently purchased Troubleshooting Your PC For Dummies, and read (most of it) cover to cover! I found it an "easy" read and enjoyable! Surprisingly it covered several problems that I had already encountered and just about managed to sort out myself. I have to say I would have been less stressed had I have had the book and read it sooner!

As the other reviewer mentions this is the 2nd edition and covers XP! The author, Dan Gookin, gives his email address and web site and "welcomes" questions and comments! I thought I'd try it out and pestered him with an email, he did reply in a friendly and I have to say prompt manor!
